Weekend Getaway to Atlantic City

This weekend I took my boyfriend to Atlantic City to celebrate his 25th birthday just the two of us. We stayed at the new hotel, The Chelsea, which was very nice with a modern feel with a mix of trendy vintage decor. I took him for a birthday dinner to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse,went to the Outlets & Shops at Caesars Pier, walked on the boardwalk, went to the Quarter at the Tropicana and even to the infamous Pool Party at Harrahs. Besides trying out the slots I gambled for the first time ever on the tables. My boyfriend taught me to play big or go home and we played craps together, had a lucky table and won a nice chunk of money. They even gave us Diamond Club Member cards. I was a little nervous to gamble but it definitely turned out to be alot of fun. Overall it was a great weekend away to celebrate him !!!

I have been a fan of Gossip Girl from the beginning and still can not break my addiction. Known for its provocative content, teenage drama, sexy, sophisticated and even punky high end fashion of these wealthy Upper East Siders there is always a certain flair of style for each character. Here are some of my favorite outfits from the current season of Gossip Girl on my fav leading ladies - Jenny, Serena & Blair. Gotta love them ! Wish I had a limo to drive me around everywhere I needed to go and those incredible designer clothes & Manhattan penthouse luxury.

HERE ARE SOME LOOKS FOR WOMEN WORKING IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY. I HAVE BEEN WORKING IN THE MECCA OF THE FASHION INDUSTRY ( BESIDES PARIS) FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS NOWS AND IN RETAIL FOR MANY YEARS PRIOR. YES, THERE ARE MANY PERKS OF THE JOB - EVENTS, FASHION SHOWS, DESIGNER CLOTHES BUT SOMETIMES IT CAN BE MISLEADING AND NOT ALWAYS AS GLAMOUROUS AS IT APPEARS. BEHIND THE SCENES ARE ALOT OF STRESSED & HARD WORKING PEOPLE, UNPAID INTERNS, LONG HOURS AND TEDIOUS EVERYDAY WORK. THIS HAS BEEN ACCURATELY DEPICTED IN VARIOUS MOVIES & REALITY TV SHOWS SUCH AS THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, THE HILLS, THE CITY, THE VOGUE DOCUMENTARY -SOME OF MY FAVORITES JUST TO NAME A FEW. ONCE YOU REACH THAT CERTAIN POINT IN YOUR CAREER IT MAY PAY OFF BUT IN THE MEANTIME EVERY YOUNG GIRL IS JUST TRYING TO LIVE THE DREAM.

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A HUGE SEX & THE CITY FAN FROM WATCHING THE EPISODES TO THE SEX & THE CITY THE MOVIE. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SEX & THE CITY MOVIE 2 THAT HITS THEATERS MAY 28TH AND YOU CAN BE SURE I WILL BE THERE OPENING NIGHT WITH MY GIRLS. WHAT I LOVE THE MOST BESIDES THE STORY LINE & THE GIRLS THEMSELVES IS THE INCREDIBLE TO DIE FOR FASHION. THE PERFECT STYLING & COMBINATION OF DESIGNERS IS ALWAYS SO INTRIQUING. YOU MIGHT SAY I'M A BIT OBSESSED BECAUSE I OWN ALL THE SEASONS IN THE DVD COLLECTION, THE MOVIE, THE BOOKS, THE GAMES, THE POSTERS AND SO ON BUT THAT IS NORMAL RIGHT ?
