Summer Loving

Here are pictures of some of my new purchases from Forever21 to expand my summer wardrobe as if I didn't already have enough but I just couldn't resist : Nautical dress, camo shorts, loose punk tank, island sundress & more. I am still loving all nautical prints, color blocked dresses, summery tunics -think Tory Burch, maxi dresses, sparkly tanks & dresses, anything embellished, straw handbags,etc. I also went to the Calypso sample sale last week and got a great deal on their fragrances. Love shopping in NYC & sample sales !

Forever21 To Take Over Times Square

Forever21 is all set up to open in Times Square at 1540 Broadway previously home to the Virgin Megastore. This 100,000 square foot store will change Times Square forever and will be located right in the heart of all the action. The giant LCD display sign above the store is counting down the days, hours, minutes & seconds to the official opening day on Friday, June 25th. The booming success of Forever21 stores nationwide has made this monumental event possible. Having this prime retail space will continue to make this fast fashion retailer a hit with the constant tourist traffic in the Big Apple hub. Opening day will definitely be a mad house.

Weekend Celebration

I am so excited for the weekend. My two girl friends from home are coming to visit. We will be celebrating my one friend's birthday. The weekend will be full of laughs, good times, drinking, dining out, exploring the city and going out to party ! Have a great weekend !

Wicker Summer Handbags

There is nothing I love more than a picnic in the park on a beautiful summer day. Last summer I got the cutest picnic basket full of all the neccessities. A few weeks ago I was shopping in Marshalls with my sister and stumbled upon a wicker handbag that looked similiar to my picnic basket on a smaller scale. I know Kate Spade and other fashion designers make them and wondered if this is a trend I should jump on? I already have a unique straw purse that I love to break out every summer that I always get compliments on. What do you think ? Hot or not ?
